GOLF CLUBS LIE

On a golf club, the lie is the angle between the clubhead and the shaft. For the vast majority of golfers, a standard lie will be sufficient to provide the desired accuracy of shots. The importance of the lie only applies to irons, more particularly to short irons. In order to determine the lie that best suits the golfer, simply measure the distance between the wrists and the ground. To do this, stand in an upright position with your golf shoes on your feet and your arms at your sides. Do a little magic or ask someone to measure the distance between your wrists and the ground.
